Festival camping begins at noon on Friday, September 17 and concludes at noon on Sunday, September 19.

CAMPING OPTIONS

We've been reading Nehemiah again....Nehemiah 5:17 to be exact.  We've decided to lower the price of camping for EVERYONE.  Check the new prices!!!!!

 

The production and site costs of the Nehemiah Festival is funded solely through donations, sponsorships, vendor fees and camping fees. Other than that, ADMISSION TO THE EVENT IS FREE! By taking advantage of the camping opportunities you can help us to "build" just like Nehemiah did! Your camping fees will help to make this all possible! Please consider becoming a part of the Nehemiah Festival community and reserve your camping spot today! 

OPTION #1 - Modern camping sites in the Festival Village

Sorry we are full - there are some other nearby modern camping facilities around the if you are interested - Call Clay County Park Office at 816-407-3400 for more information about alternate modern camping accomodations.

 $50.00 for the entire weekend for MODERN CAMPING

If you want to be part of the Festival Village population and in the middle of what is going on then this is for you! Modern campsites are complete with electric and water hookups, are in close proximity to modern restroom and shower facilities and actually a part of the Nehemiah Festival Village!

Each modern campsite space will support one RV/Camper or (2) family tents – (maximum 10 people)

Assignments for upgraded campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis and will require advance registration and payment. Contact camping@nehemiahfest.com to reserve your spot today!

OPTION #2-Primitive Camping Sites at the Nehemiah Festival

$15.00 per tent (20x20 space) for the weekend – special group rates are available upon request for large groups.

If you like to rough it and don’t need electricity or water hookups then this is a great option for you. For only $15.00 you can have your own 20x20 space for the entire weekend. All primitive sites are within a short walking distance to the activities, restrooms, showers, and music! 

OPTION #3-Build your own tent city at the Nehemiah Festival!

Get a bunch of you friends and create your own tent community in the Nehemiah Festival Primitive camping area! Special group rate discounts are available for large groups! Let us know what you are planning and we’ll help you in laying out your tent city!

Camping rules and other information

  • Registered campers must be 18 years or older. Campers under 18 must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian that is 18 years of age or older.
  • Those planning to camp as a group MUST be registered at the same time.
  • Vehicle traffic and parking is only allowed in designated areas and not allowed in the primitive camping or restricted use areas.
  • There is no alcohol, illegal drugs, fireworks, or explosives permitted on the festival grounds.
  • Possession of firearms, mace, stun guns or similar types of dangerous weapons is prohibited on the festival grounds by unauthorized persons.
  • There are no open fires permitted in primitive camping area; however the use of camp stoves and BBQ grills is permitted. Hot coals must not be left unattended and should be disposed of in approved receptacles.
  • Laws and regulations will be enforced by the Smithville Police Department, Clay County Sheriff's Department and the Nehemiah Festival "Gate Keepers" Security Team.
CANCELLATION POLICY

We are unable to refund fees for camping reservations. Should you be unable to attend after registering, please consider your camping fee as a tax-deductible donation to fund the Nehemiah Festival.
